Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 2026

VixSync helps businesses talk to their customers. This policy keeps those conversations welcome, keeps every business’s WhatsApp number and email domain in good standing, and is part of our Terms of Service.

Collecting WhatsApp opt-in

Before your business starts a WhatsApp conversation with someone, they must have agreed to receive WhatsApp messages from you. A valid opt-in:

  • names your business and says the messages come on WhatsApp;
  • is an action the person takes — ticking an unticked box, sending you a message, or saying yes on a call — never a pre-ticked box;
  • says what you will send (order updates, appointment reminders, offers);
  • is recorded: VixSync stores where and when each lead’s consent was given when it arrives through a form, lead ad, import or the API.

Example wording for a form: “☐ Send me updates and offers from [Business] on WhatsApp at this number. I can reply STOP at any time.”

When someone replies STOP (or otherwise asks you to stop), VixSync marks them as opted out and blocks further business-initiated messages. Don’t opt them back in unless they ask.

Messaging rules

  • Start WhatsApp conversations only with templates Meta has approved; free-form replies only within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.
  • Follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy — no prohibited goods or services.
  • Send marketing email only to people who agreed to it, from a domain you control, with the unsubscribe link VixSync adds left in place.
  • For calls and SMS, respect TRAI’s rules and the DND registry.
  • Never buy, rent or scrape contact lists.

AI assistants

  • Don’t present your assistant as a human if someone asks.
  • Don’t configure it to give medical, legal or financial advice as if it were a professional.
  • Don’t use it to collect passwords, card numbers, OTPs, or government ID numbers.

Never allowed

  • Spam, phishing, scams, impersonation, or misleading messages.
  • Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, or content that is illegal in India.
  • Collecting children’s data without verifiable parental consent.
  • Malware, or trying to break into, overload or probe VixSync or other users’ workspaces.
  • Reselling VixSync or sharing logins without our written agreement.

What happens if this policy is broken

We may pause sending, suspend a WhatsApp number or email domain, or suspend the workspace — with notice where possible, immediately where people or our providers are at risk. Meta and other providers can also act on their own. Report abuse to connect@vixscale.com.
